I got this piece for my daughters wedding gift and she was amazed on the quality. I can easily share my favorite pictures with this photo frame compared to JWIN frame I had that I paid [...] for 6 months ago. The display of the pictures is not the best but for what you pay for it is decent. With 2 aspect ratios 16:9 and 4:3 you can choose wide or thin images. I have not used the Mp4 function but I do not see a whole lot of use for that but each there own. The standard memory 8mb is pretty lame for a frame now at days so I used my 128mb cheap card I got for 3 bucks. There is no need for batteries as it comes with AC adapter and remote. However I think the remote just adds to my junk pile b/c who really needs a remote for that? my .02
